Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payment by Switch, Maestro, Solo, Visa and Mastercard. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Orders will processed and dispatched within 1 working day from receipt. Delivery is anticipated to be 1-2 working days from dispatch. Office hours are 9-5, Monday through Friday.

All invoices must be paid in full by the due date specified and all goods remain the property of Burns Pet Nutrition until paid for in full.

If the customer fails to pay any sum owing to us on the due date, all sums outstanding will become due and payable and without prejudice to any other rights we may at our option either withhold further deliveries or cancel this contract.

For orders made from the UK, VAT is applied at the current rate.

Any time or date for delivery by us is given in good faith but is an estimate only and no liability will be accepted for any loss whatsoever suffered or caused through late delivery or non-delivery.

Delivery Schedule
Upon receipt of your order we will endeavor to process and dispatch within 2-3 working days. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00, therefore to avoid disappointment please allow sufficient time for delivery.

Back Orders
Should you order an item that is out of stock we will automatically refund the purchase price to you. This takes a few days to clear on your account. Please note we do not hold any back orders.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is added unless specified.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

All goods delivered must be examined at time of delivery and any damaged or defective goods should be rejected

Our liability for short delivery, damaged or defective goods shall be strictly limited to the provision of any goods not delivered or at our option the replacement or repair of any damaged or defective goods or refund the purchase price (if paid)

If the customer wishes to claim that there is any shortage on the delivery or that any of the goods are delivered damaged or defective, the customer shall give us notice in writing within 3 days after the date of delivery, failing which the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered undamaged without defect and in accordance with the delivery documents.

If short delivery does take place, the customer shall not reject the goods but shall accept the goods delivered as a part performance of the order.

We shall not be under any liability for any failure to perform any of our obligations due to events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
